I consider myself a "light" user of RSS feeds over the years. I use the Google Reader as my aggregator and like Susan, I have mine in my iGoogle page. I too am unhappy that iGoogle will be going away and, like Susan, I am looking for a replacement. Someone suggested Symbaloo and that would work to some degree but would not be as quick as an iGoogle page.
My favorite feed in Google reader was Wandering Willy. Willy is a retired man who lives in Canada and each winter he would hitch up his trailer to his truck and head south for a four month adventure. Willy would blog about every other day and tell about his adventures and where he was staying. He always posted relevant pictures along the way and his blog was for pure enjoyment. I love the wandering lifestyle and lived vicariously from Willy's posts. Alas, Willy did not show-up last Winter and I fear that his advancing age has kept him off the road. I subscribed to a new blog this week that features a couple who are full time in their RV. Not as good as Willy but interesting all the same.

The Student View
I wrote many reflections as I posted various assignments and projects in my portfolio that I created as part of my Leading Edge Certification to become a Leading Edge teacher.
Here are some thoughts about the Venn Diagram that we created to demonstrate the differences and similarities of online/blended and face-to-face classrooms.
